I have a similar problem. I can't seem to get that elusive six-pack. Lately, I've been limiting my carbs. I dropped about 5KGs. I've reduced cardio because I was afraid I am going to lose mass as well. Body fat flactuates between 12 and 15%. I'm short of being anorexic yet I still have this beer-gut. Mind if I ask what you current BMI is?
The answer is cardio, not just crunches. Crunches develop your abs muscles BUT they don't melt the flab off; cardio will do that.
So, more cardio, plus sabayan mo ng weights para you don't loss muscle mass.
