food for birds
this is what this breakfast is about. and it is so sad that this happens to be the breakfast buffet at the hotel. ARRGGH. but i need to lose the flab fast. or else, i will become a flabcaster.
a body builder friend of mine told me once: if you are starting to eat food that tastes like paper, you are on your way.
small, frequent feedings. and dont complicate your taste buds with multitude of choices. binge on fruits and vegetables if you have to. you need complex carbs that don't lead to spikes in your blood sugar and take longer to burn as fuel.
so many things to remember...

It's actually very easy to lose weight. Just stick to a low carb diet. Don't eat a lot before bedtime. Consume all the fat your heart (pun intended) desires. Fat does not make you fat (as long as its natural, of course. Commercial pork is not natural. Baboy ramo is. Beef from corporate ranches are not natural, cows tied to the side of a grassy hill are.) I always laugh when people avoid fat like the plague. Natural is always best. Google Weston Price.
Fat is fat no matter where they come from. If you have to eat fat, unsaturated fats (often of plant origin) are preferable over saturated ones (often of animal origin). Carbohydrates are also high in kilojoules. Limit yourself to complex carbs as opposed to sweets. Focus on getting at least 2 fruits and 5 veggies each day.
just. eat. less. as simple as that.
Actually, you will not survive without fat. Omega 3, which prevents blood cells from sticking together (thereby reducing the chances of a heart attack), can mostly be found in animal sources.
Modernong panahon lang naman nauso yang atake-atake sa puso na yan. But thanks to this crisis a lot of people around the world will have no choice but to revert to natural eating.
many thanks for the advice, guys! i don't really avoid fat as much. eating less, i try but i noticed that if i 'indulge' in variety, i end up eating more. by simplifying my meal options, i control myself more.
well, i hope some of that flab melts soon. boracay beckons!
Pagkaing ibon talaga. :)
