I'd like to think na masyadong sweeping yung "ALL about insecurity" statement, because probably there may be other reasons aside from insecurity. But right now I can't think of any, hahaha.
i don't think so. when you're jealous, it could be that you are desiring for something that you may never had. when someone makes you feel insecure, i would say that you used to be happy about what you have and what you are, then someone/something came up that threatened to burst that bubble of happiness of yours
Being jealous for me is when someone else got what you wanted to have right now or someone got more than what you currently have while being insecure for me is when someone doubts that he/she deserves something that he/she already has and gives him/her a feeling of this falling out of his/her hands.
para sa akin hindi lagi. Ganito kasi tingin ko jan.. Jealousy is an emotion geared or expressed towards a person. Insecurity is an emotion felt about one's self. The former is external (stimuli comes from person or thing other than yourself), while the latter is internal (stimuli or issue comes from within the person).
Nope. Not entirely. I get jealous because I value that person so much that I don't want to share him with anyone else. No, I'm not clingy. It's okay for me to him have friends and a line has been drawn between friends and being more than friends. :)
the way i see it, it's fine to feel jealous once in awhile. mainggit ka, magselos ka. You're entitled to feel such.
it's just a matter of, what are you going to do about it? how are you going to handle it?
in terms of relationships, or luveyduveys... I use jealousy as panlambing. but never to ignite conflict. one may also use jealousy to his own advantage. i'd intentionally make my man jealous for my own good, get some lovin. hehe
just be creative with it, that's what i'm saying. Feel jealous, but don't be insecure. jealousy and insecurity, are not synonymous.
Can be. A lover is sometimes “overprotective” to the point of preventing his partner from going out without him, because lover does not want his partner to do what he does when he is out without his partner.

The great thing about jealousy iswhen it leads to schadenfreude. Aquinas' definition of jealousy still sums it up best.
Somehow, sometimes you hold back not because of what you have but because of what you don't have :)
