Hi CC,
I think as we evolve we begin to have more varied relationships with people not necessarily like ourselves but similar kindred spirits. The other day I was with a retired engineer who sits on the board of a university and has involved herself in community work. On tuesday she will witness the inauguration of a mini hydro electric plant. Tomorrow i have a houseguest all of 22 years who will document a heritage activity up in the mountains. i just came back from an overnight stay in a bird sanctuary passionately managed by a friend . another one is starting a butterfly sanctuary. we choose the life we want to live and never forget to share. i think that way happiness however fleeting comes to visit us more often

Ahem, excuse me. But I've gone through SEVERAL mid-life crises even before I entered mid-life, hahaha.

Been there, done (a lot of) that actually. It's a good article, but you'll realize that, as in most "how to" articles, you will have your own tweak on what was advised, or even have an opposite learning on certain points.

Oh and one more thing: I never really fully subscribed to that "American aesthetics" of what a man should be, nor the pursuit of what's commonly known as the American dream. I'm quite odd that way. =)
