my vacation has ended. at 8am, i was at the international airport, waiting for my flight. this was my supersize breakfast: spam, scrambled eggs, two slices of french toast, butter, syrup. good grief, no wonder obesity is a problem here! the food court overlooks a japanese-style garden, which was a refreshing sight. i was so not looking forward to the 10.5hr flight. on the bright side, its a direct flight. but i have a hard time sleeping inside the plane for long stretches. all in all, it was a great, short vacation. met a lot of new friends, got to bond with old ones. saw beautiful sights and wonderful people. to my generous hosts, mahalo!
